The Stocks module provides a shared view of available, reserved and expected products. It also records movements created by sales, purchasing, production and logistics.

Choose the tracking level

Each article uses the stock management method that fits its activity:
  • by total quantity to track one balance per location;
  • by batches to distinguish production and supply batches;
  • by perishable batches to add expiry dates; and
  • by unique parts to track each unit separately.
This choice structures the article’s history. Define it before its first movements.

Available functions

  • view stock by article, site, location and lot;
  • distinguish physical, available, reserved and expected stock;
  • move a quantity between two locations;
  • correct a difference with an inbound movement, outbound movement or new quantity;
  • perform a full or partial inventory count;
  • review movement history and traceability; and
  • value stock using the available cost data.
