A shipment records the quantities sent to a customer. It organizes stock preparation and retains the link to the sales-order lines.

Create a shipment from an order

1

Open the order shipments

Open the Shipments tab of the sales order. Bonx shows the linked shipments and the quantities that remain to be shipped.
2

Select the products to ship

Select the available lines. Adjust the quantities when the dispatch does not cover the complete order.
3

Review the shipment

Check the customer, site, delivery address and date. You can edit the record before you create it.
4

Prepare and dispatch

Follow the shipment process. Select the lots, complete the stock-out tasks and generate the required documents.

Ship an order in several dispatches

One sales order can have multiple shipments. Use a separate shipment for each physical dispatch, for example when all products are not available on the same day. After each shipment, Bonx deducts the quantities already covered. The order’s Shipments tab continues to show the outstanding quantity. The next shipment starts from these remaining quantities only.
Linked shipments remain visible on the order. They can also provide the source for invoicing the products that were actually shipped.

Manage a sales order

Prepare the order that supplies the shipment.

Invoice shipped products

Create an invoice from one or more shipments.
