Custom Apps - Bonx

A Custom App is a business interface built with Claude and connected to Bonx. It gives a team a workflow that matches its work while using Bonx data and actions. For example, you can create a data entry screen for the shop floor, a supplier tracking portal, or a control screen that combines several order types.

Create an application with Claude

Describe the users, the tasks they must complete, and the information they need. Claude builds the frontend and connects it to Bonx. You can then test the result and request changes in natural language. A Custom App can use the elements that you already configured:

standard entities, such as orders, articles, and lots;
your custom tables and custom fields;
actions from the REST API;
your AI agents to run a task from the interface.

When to create a Custom App

Create a Custom App when the interface covers a complete workflow, combines several record types, or serves a specific role. To add a view or an action to an existing record, create a Custom Tab instead.

Your data stays in Bonx. The Custom App gives you another interface to view and update it.
