A Custom Tab adds a dedicated interface to a Bonx page. It can extend a sales order, purchase order, manufacturing order, article, lot, or another record. The tab receives the context of the open record. It can show data, perform a calculation, or provide actions for that record. The user does not have to leave the page.

Tab examples

  • On an order, show the margin, customer risk, or delivery status.
  • On a manufacturing order, combine component availability and quality checks.
  • On an article, compare suppliers or show changes in cost.
  • On a lot, combine analyses, certificates, and traceability events.

Create a tab with Claude

Select a record type, then describe the information and actions that you need. Claude builds the tab interface and connects it to the record data. You can refine the result in natural language. A Custom Tab can read standard and custom fields, follow links to other records, and start an action or an agent.
A Custom Tab extends an existing record. To create a separate workflow or work with several record types at once, use a Custom App.
