A receiving records the quantities that a supplier actually delivered. It puts the products into stock and retains the link to the purchase-order lines.

Create a receiving from an order

1

Open the order receivings

Open the Receivings tab of the purchase order. Bonx shows the linked receivings and the quantities that remain to be received.
2

Select the received products

Select the applicable lines. Adjust the quantities when the delivery does not cover the complete order.
3

Review the receiving

Check the supplier, site, date and products. You can edit the record before you create it.
4

Put the products into stock

Follow the receiving process. Identify the lots and locations requested by the stock tasks.

Receive an order in several deliveries

One purchase order can have multiple receivings. Use a separate receiving for each physical delivery. After each receiving, Bonx deducts the quantities already covered. The order’s Receivings tab continues to show the outstanding quantity. You can create the next receiving without including products that were already delivered.
Do not enter a quantity that was already received in a new receiving. It would be added to stock a second time.

Receive goods without a purchase order

You can also create a receiving directly. Use this path for a physical inbound movement that does not come from a purchase order tracked in Bonx. Enter the supplier, site and received lines manually.

Manage purchasing

Prepare the purchase order that the receivings will cover.
