A transfer moves stock between a source and a destination in your organization. It does not create a purchase or sale.

How a transfer works

A transfer follows the product through both parts of its movement:
  1. the source site prepares the products and completes their stock-out movement;
  2. the destination site receives the same products and completes their stock-in movement.
The transfer process marks the transition between these two parts. Bonx retains the lots picked at the source to prepare the matching inbound movement at the destination.

Create a transfer

1

Choose the source and destination

Select two different sites. The source site handles the transfer first.
2

Add the products

Enter the articles and quantities to move.
3

Prepare the dispatch

Select the source lots and locations, then complete the stock-out tasks.
4

Receive at the destination

Continue the process at the destination site. Check the quantities and complete their stock-in movement.

Use transfer suggestions

Logistics planning can propose a transfer when one site has a requirement and another site has the applicable stock. Always check the source, destination and quantity before you create the transfer.

Work with multiple sites

Organize stock, teams and records by site.

Plan requirements

Use projected requirements to prepare transfers.
